About Ark Ministries International
about us
Ark Ministries International (AMI) has been dedicated to “building faith for the salvation of the family” since 2007. Inspired by Hebrews 11:7, AMI is a faith-centered ministry that empowers individuals and communities to rediscover purpose and resilience through a life of faith. Addressing today’s complex challenges—social, economic, and spiritual—AMI integrates multidisciplinary insights and a technology-forward approach, embracing the wisdom of simplicity and adaptability, as reflected in Proverbs 6:6-7.
Our unique, flexible campus model uses mobile and home offices, creating a streamlined and sustainable ministry that challenges traditional facilities and administrative practices. Through faith, we guide communities in navigating the transformative shift from an industrial economy to a purpose-driven future. In facing societal uncertainties, we stand strong in faith, committed to building an Ark that brings hope, restoration, and a new beginning.

Gregory A. Parker, Senior Pastor
In Bessemer Alabama, on November 17, 1961, Pastor Gregory A. Parker was the second of three children born of faith to Rev. Henry L. and Jimmie Parker. Gregory was called to the ministry at the early age of six. God whispered in his ear, "son go preach" at First Baptist Church Pratt City, Alabama where Rev. H. L. Parker was pastor. These seminal words shaped his life as one chosen with a Purpose to Preach. Pastor Gregory has served in several leadership positions during his father's pastorate including Sunday school and Bible study instructor, Worship leader and assistant to the Pastor in ministry and counseling. In 1979, Pastor Gregory enlisted in the United States Marine Corps with one year remaining in High School. After graduating from Fairview High School, Dayton, Ohio in 1980, in just two weeks, he left for basic training at Parris Island Marine Corp Depot, South Carolina. After completing basic training in September, he was stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. On December 27, 1980, Pastor Gregory married his high school sweetheart Judith C. (Couzens) Parker. In 2007, Pastor Gregory organized and founded the thriving ministry of Ark Ministries International where he currently serves as Senior Pastor.
